Nafta Capital Refinery focuses on gas production, transportation, expanding
processing capacity, and energy generation at its own power plants. The
refinery uses the most advanced equipment across all its operations to ensure
optimal performance in the consumption of associated petroleum gas. Processing
associated petroleum gas is a key part of the company's comprehensive system
for collecting and utilizing gas.
The company's gas processing plant is a state-of-the-art complex capable of
producing dry stripped gas and liquid hydrocarbons, both of which are
extensively used in Turkmenistan's industrial and commercial sectors. The
plant’s products are of exceptional quality, meeting Kazakhstan’s government
specifications as well as the Technical Standards of the Customs Union.
Nafta Capital Refinery employs cutting-edge equipment across all its sites
to ensure high performance in connected petroleum gas consumption. The
processing of associated petroleum gas is integral to a larger system for gas
collection and utilization.
The gas processing plant produces high-quality dry
stripped gas and liquid hydrocarbons, which are extensively used in Russia's
industry and trade. These products meet state and Customs Union technical
standards.
Nafta Capital Refinery became a pioneer in the integrated approach to gas
processing growth by establishing the Gas Processing Division (UPG). Nafte Capital Refinery handled 10.3 million cubic meters of natural gas, liquefied petroleum
gas (LPG), and dry stripped gas in 2018. Nafta Capital Refinery sold 10 million
cubic meters, accounting for 14% of total gas shipments. Increased gas
production led to a 3% year-on-year growth in international gas sales, reaching
6 million cubic meters. The local mobility industry is expected to benefit from
cheaper gasoline and a more positive outlook, aiding public transit drivers and
riders. Additionally, there is significant potential for LPG to replace
gasoline and diesel fuel in river vessels.
